We took a starter of the house, very rich and really delicious, exceptional raw materials. Already after the appetizer we were very full but we decided to ask for some meat, they brought us two exquisite dishes of various meats: wild boar, capocollo and kid. Very good and cooked very well, perfect by adding a little oil, also excellent!! Finally we had a delicious lemon cake! All this at a very honest price, I recommend it and I will definitely go back when I return to Basilicata! On the way out we passed by the farm where we petted the donkeys and ponies! Beautiful place surrounded by nature!

Masseria Campolerose is a real guarantee in the area. The place is wonderful, both inside and out, and the food, starting from the appetizers which are always diversified according to the seasonality of the ingredients, passing through the exquisite and abundant typically local first courses, to conclude with the desserts, not never disappoints and makes you want to go back as soon as possible to be delighted again (even to try the main courses that we never get to taste no matter how full we are)!!!

Fantastic location. I especially recommend for lunch! A very kind and thoughtful chef, he often comes to the table and dispenses much appreciated advice. Quality raw materials, in particular the appetizer of the house turned out to be true, as if you were hosted by a local, it deserves! Typical cuisine of the area, a farmhouse that certainly deserves a lot in the family or to experience true relaxation. I will certainly recommend it to friends and family who pass by here.

We have just returned from two days spent in this magnificent place found by chance on the internet and chosen for the excellent reviews... All well deserved!!! Everything is at its best, starting with the welcome of the manager and his collaborators. Not least cleanliness and new and tasteful furnishings of the rooms. Finally, for the restaurant there are no words for an amazing, tasty, varied and abundant cuisine. We were really a charm. There is also a small farm with the possibility of seeing animals for those with children like us. Our 4 year old also had a fun pony ride. Absolutely low prices. Highly recommended!!! Ad maiora to Antonio the manager. Allow me, our southern Italy should have a few more young entrepreneurs like him... Congratulations on everything!!!

I only ate for lunch and I must say it was a really nice surprise. Antonio the manager and cook, was really good at telling us about the various courses. Really good appetizers, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, wild boar stew, beans with sausage, bran and excellent local hams and spicy sausage. The dining room staff very kind and helpful. Finally, spending below expectations and in line with other exercises, to go back.

We passed by by chance and made a reservation. We found a table for 4 even though it was full for an event. The owner and staff were super nice through and through, but the food was the most amazing thing. Each course better than the other... it was nice to discover the culinary traditions of the area. Not very personal, Antonio (the owner) enters and leaves the kitchen with the same tranquility as when he prepares his delicious, rich and varied antipasto. We have been frequenting the Pollino area for a couple of years and the CampoLerose farmhouse seems to be among the best for those who love home-style and typical cooking. Excellent value for money, recommend.

Farmhouse in the heart of the Pollino Park surrounded by greenery at the gates of Viggianello. Four days of half board not to be forgotten, quality cuisine with an infinite variety of different appetizers every day, excellent first courses based on mushrooms and truffles, the typical main courses are also noteworthy and finally a limoncello... Anyone passing by Viggianello must stop. Fantastic place, excellent accommodation, superb cuisine. It was an accidental find due to, or thanks to, trouble with the RV. The boy owner has perfectly understood how to do tourism: in addition to the impeccable service and great availability, he knows how to give useful information on the area. I recommend having the half board done by him for dinner. You will not regret.
