Masseria Campolerose: farmhouse with rooms and restaurant with typical cuisine

The Masseria Campolerose farm, existing since 1576, has been equipped since 2005 with a suitable structure to give hospitality and refreshment to those who love the natural and uncontaminated environment of the Pollino National Park. Located in Contrada Campolerose, near the source of the Mercure river (Lao) with the possibility of a view, at the foot of Mount Vocolio, it offers, thanks to its distance from traffic and the particularly mild climate, a stay of total tranquility and relaxation, as well as proposing a direct participation in agricultural activities carried out on the farm. For the more adventurous, it is possible to practice, in the area, activities such as trekking (excursions in the high mountains), free climbing (climbing), rafting (raft descent of the Lao river), horse riding, mountain biking and much more.

WILDERNESS

Wilderness is environmental conditions and mental predisposition, suitable for perceiving and understanding the emotions that nature stimulates. This project was born from a young Lucan, Carlo Marsico, environmental hiking guide and Italian Rafting Federation guide who invested resources and energy aimed at enhancing his land.

You will discover evocative places and experience unforgettable adventures in close contact with nature.

The outdoor activities take place in the heart of the Pollino National Park which is part of the European and global network of geoparks (UNESCO Global Geopark), with truly incredible biodiversity between flora and fauna.

INFOPOLLINO EXCURSIONS CENTER

Infopollino Excursions Center was born in 2010 from a group of four friends linked by a passion for nature and their land.

Children of the thousand euro generation, after studying and poorly paid clerical jobs around Italy, they decided to abandon a precarious working life to win their bet in the mountains of the Pollino National Park.

In 2012 they invented Aquatrekking by registering the brand with the UBIM (Italian Patent and Trademark Office).

The Masseria Campolerose farmhouse, completely renovated, has 4 comfortable bedrooms, 2 of which can become a mini-apartment, in all there are 11 beds available, available all year round. Each room has a private bathroom with shower, they are all equipped with a TV and a fridge, and all reached by a Wi-Fi signal.

An excellent solution for staying overnight at the foot of the Pollino Massif, to set off on excursions to do within the Park and just a few minutes from Rotonda and Viggianello.
